Almighty God,
send down upon your Church
the riches of your Spirit,
and kindle in all who minister the gospel
your countless gifts of grace;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Over All the Earth
Confession
When our hearts and minds are closed to understanding God’s word.
Lord, have mercy.
When listening to God’s word and following Jesus’ teaching become difficult and we turn away.
Christ, have mercy.
When we allow the concerns and worries of our lives to crows out God’s word and peace.
Lord, have mercy.

May the God of love and power
forgive you and free you from your sins,
