Volunteer Audio Visual Team Organiser (AV Team)

St Luke’s have a strong tradition of modern and creative worship to lift our hearts, souls and hands to God in praise and wonder and inspire our spiritual growth.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting our worship services we are looking to enlarge our team of Sound Engineers and PC Operators to work on a rota basis.  The team is to be led by a Volunteer Audio Visual Team Organiser who can also volunteer as part of the team.  The role involves liaising with the Ministry Leadership Team (MLT) on the requirement for AV support and allocating volunteers to each service by a rota.  The Team Organiser is to ensure the MLT are aware of any problems in filling the rota.

Skills

  • Good organisation and communication skills are required.
  • Encouraging and caring for the team desired.
  • To be the bridge between the AV Team and the MLT to ensure that requirements match resource and resolving any problems that arise.

Time required

A couple of hours, at the convenience of the organiser, each term to liaise with the AV Team members re their availability and create rotas for the Laptop and Sound Desk.

To be the Point of Contact for the Team with MLT and others between times. 

Training                  

The MLT will give instruction on the requirements of the role.

Location                  

The role can be carried out at home for St Luke’s Church Hedge End.
